7 My ^aeye has grown dim from vexation,
and all my members are like ^ba shadow.

7 My ^ceye wastes away because of grief;
it grows weak because of all my foes.

9 ^dmy eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon you, O Lord;
I ^espread out my hands to you.

17 ^fOur eyes failed, ever watching
^gvainly for help;
in our watching we watched
for ^ha nation which could not save.
